I've been using Godox SL60 for quite some time and whenever I wanted to cast a light of some tint/color, I used to put some cheap colored sheets in front that we find on stationary.
That's the most easy way but the downfall is that you don't get the perfect color and the tint casted through that solution possess issue at color grading sometimes.
Using the Color Gels that came with this barn door totally changed the game for me, first of all it's much more convenient and faster to switch the colors as I don't have to worry about pasting tape or anything and secondly the color casted is always consistent.
Build quality is also great, totally loved it
